First, if you didn’t know – there is a PTC Membership event on 12 September from 17:30 to 19:30 hosted at Paul Hastings office located in McPherson Square in Washington, D.C. Weather permitting, we will be outside on the rooftop enjoying a beautiful evening of networking in our nation’s capital.
Second, why should you go? Odds are you are going to be seeing folks at PTC’20. Coming to our third quarter event will give you a head start on planning for January. You can register and make your reservations early, as well as receive deeper discounts. You also get to connect and catch up with your friends and business colleagues, and potentially meet some new folks that may turn into lasting friendships. The delicious food and drink are an added bonus.
Third, this would be a great time to invite someone to go with you. Maybe someone from work who would be a breath of fresh air on one of PTC’s committees. Every committee is looking for active members with new ideas on how to improve the Annual Conference, and ways to bring new members into the fold. You might consider bringing someone from a company who isn’t currently a member. Introduce them to a great set of people, show them why being a member is a cool thing, and let them see what a dynamic organization PTC is!
You can get additional details and RSVP for the event here.
I hope to see a big crowd in D.C. on the 12th. You might not want to fight the traffic into the city in the late afternoon, but I’ll be coming up from Charlottesville, which just goes to show how great I think the networking opportunities will be. It will be an easy carpool or metro ride for the locals.
Mahalo!
