Program Overview
The PTC Academy provides exceptional management training to rising industry leaders. Course topics examined the global telecom sector, strategies to identify and solve business challenges and opportunities, emerging technologies, and more. A core team of expert instructors with senior executive experience led each course using a mix of presentations, in-depth case studies, and interactive exercises.
Eight modules, each delivered as a 90-minute live presentation. (60-minutes of lecture followed by 30-minutes of instructor Q&A and peer structured discussions.)

A workshop allowing participants to grapple with C-level issues of revenue, competition, customer demand changes, cost, innovation challenges, and social responsibilities.

Over-the-top apps and services sometimes compete with, but can complement, connectivity provider strategies. What are the key challenges and opportunities?

As Co-Founder and CEO, Eric R. Handa has built APTelecom into a globally recognized leader in telecom consulting. Since launching in 2009, Handa has grown APTelecom from a start-up business to an award-winning global organization which has generated over USD 315 million in sales for clients, and has been named the Sales Team of the Year by the Global Customer Sales and Service Awards, as well as a Silver Award winner of the 2014 Fastest Growing Company EMEA by the Best in Business Awards. Telecom Review Magazine awarded APTelecom the Best VAS Consulting Company in 2016 and 2017.
Handa is an experienced telecommunications executive with expertise spanning global management, sales, and leadership roles. Prior to founding APTelecom, Handa worked for AT&T, Tyco Electronics, Tata, and Bharti Airtel in a number of senior operations, research, and sales assignments.
He is an expert contributor to Wired.com’s “Innovation Insights” section, and is regularly quoted by the most prestigious global media outlets in the world on the topic of telecom in emerging markets.

Gary Kim is a communications industry analyst of 30 years, and currently works as a telecom/Internet conference content developer, authoring white papers, articles, and marketing collateral for firms in the communications industry.
He recently founded the Spectrum Futures conference for the Pacific Telecommunications Council (PTC), and acts as a conference advisor for PTC.
He was cited as a global “Power Mobile Influencer” by Forbes; ranked second in the world for strategic coverage of the mobile business.
He is a member of Mensa, the international organization for people with IQs in the top two percent.

Tony Mosley specializes in telecommunications operations specifically wireless, wireline, broadband, and wholesale markets.
He has been in the telecommunications industry for 25 years having worked for MCI International, GTE International, and Verizon Business as General Manager of Micronesian Telecommunications Corp. and Metaswitch Networks.
Under his leadership, Verizon Business sold international telecommunications properties which he led from start to completion. Following the sale of the business unit, he became its Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Board of Directors, providing corporate direction and oversight to a full-service operating company.
He is currently the Director of Business Development for Ocean Specialists, Inc. supporting several Pacific subsea cable builds.
He has been a member of PTC and PITA since 1998 and 2001 respectively.
Tony was in the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant Commander in the Supply Corps and is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy.
