The Pacific Telecommunications Council (PTC) is pleased to introduce the PTC Emerging Scholar Program, formerly known as the PTC Young Scholar Program, that will be part of PTC’s Annual Conference in January 2023.

The program recognizes, encourages, and supports up-and-coming scholars in the field of information and communications technologies.

The PTC Emerging Scholar Program broadens the spectrum of individuals who may apply to the program as there is no longer an age eligibility requirement. Scholars must be currently enrolled in a Ph.D. degree program or no more than five (5) years from receiving their Ph.D.

Selected applicants will be invited to present their research in person at PTC’23 in Honolulu, Hawaii, from 15 to 18 January 2023.

Applicants for the 2023 PTC Emerging Scholar Program must submit an official application form along with required supporting materials for a single-authored research paper.

The deadline to apply is 5 August 2022 (23:59 HST).
