The PTC’18 Media Center offers a number of opportunities for sponsors, exhibitors, and attendees to meet the press. Companies are encouraged to request the press list and submit embargoed press releases that are then shared with attending press.

Media Center FAQs
Designed to welcome, support, and enable the press and media to cover the massive amount of content, news, and events unfolding during the Conference, the PTC’18 Media Center will be located in the PTC HUB (Coral 3 ballroom) at the Hilton Hawaiian Village® Waikiki Beach Resort.
Online, the Media Center is where conference registrants can submit press releases, request the press list, and apply for press registration.
During the conference, the Media Center is located in the PTC HUB (Coral 3 ballroom) of the Mid-Pacific Conference Center of the Hilton Hawaiian Village® Waikiki Beach Resort. Media appointments can be scheduled in advance or requested onsite at the PTC’18 Media Center information desk.

To submit a press release, we ask that you provide your contact information, the title of the release, a short introduction (teaser copy), a Word document with your release, and a link to a PDF of your release. You will also be asked to provide a publication date and time. Please also include a company logo and, if you wish, a supporting visual.
All press releases will be made available via the following channels:
- Announcements page on the PTC website
- Electronic folders shared with participating media
- Daily summary sent to attending media
- Daily announcements email sent to conference registrants
Please note media will have unfettered access to peruse submitted press releases at their leisure (embargoed releases included).
All of these services are offered at no cost courtesy of PTC.
To schedule press interviews, request the press list first. You may then contact individual members of the press directly to arrange meetings or you can email the Media Center team for assistance. The press may choose to hold interviews in the Media Center or at another mutually agreed upon location.
Only registered press may schedule briefings in the Media Center. Briefing schedules should be emailed to mediacenter@ptc.org. The onsite Media Center team will ensure all parties are present.
Companies are encouraged to hold press conferences in the Media Center for easier access to attending press. It is recommended press conferences are held on the first two days of the conference for highest attendance. To reserve a 30-minute slot, email the Media Center team at mediacenter@ptc.org.

Yes. When you submit your press release online, you can specify a publication date. Please note that releases submitted after 15.00 HST will not be included in that day’s announcement email that is sent to all conference registrants.
